LG, being an aggressive player in the TV marker from Korea had launched a new series of Borderless TV , and it is in the market of Hong Kong Now.
The LG SL8000- and SL9000-series. The localized models will be available under the SL80- and SL90-series with the following specifications.

This is definitely Direct back Lit LED as it does nt even need an EDGE at all!!
It's a close fight between the two Korean chaebols as far as the panel bezel depth is concerned. The SL90 edges ahead of the current Samsung LED-edgelit models by a hair with a 0.9mm margin. LG 42" borderless TV is selling at HKD$20,800.00 in Hong Kong.
